The annual IIT Institute of Design Strategy Conference connects thought leaders from industry, civic organizations, and government to explore how design can address the complicated problems facing society and business.

April 10 – 11 – The Benjamin Franklin Project to Host Conference On The “Infrastructures of Creativity”

“The Benjamin Franklin Project at Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT), along with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and the University of Wisconsin at Madison, will host an interdisciplinary conference on innovation.” Keynote speakers for the conference include Genevieve Bell, the Director of Interaction and Experience Research at Intel, Simona Maschi from the Copenhagen Institute for Interaction Design, as well as Historian Adrian Johns, Sociologists Paul Starr (Princeton) and Fred Block (UC-Davis), and Political Scientists Laura Hosman (IIT) and John Zumbrunnen (UW-Madison).

Disruptive technology, drones and design are among the topics that will be discussed at the fourth annual TEDxIIT from 9 am-5 pm on Saturday, April 5, 2014 in the IIT Tower Auditorium.
